התאחדות סוכני הנסיעות מזהירה את הסוכנים באשר להמשך פעילותה של חברת התעופה הרוסית KD AVIA.

ההתאחדות ממליצה לסוכנים ש-"לא להעביר את הכספים אותם הם אמורים להעביר לידי החברה וזאת בהתאם לנסיבות הפרטניות של כל מקרה ומקרה".

בידיעה בנושא שפורסמה ב-8 באפריל באתר הידיעות הכלכליות הרוסי בשפה האנגלית Finmarket נכתב בין השאר:

KD AVIA הפסיקה אמש את טיסותיה לאחר שמטוסיה נתפסו ועוקלו עקב כשלונה של החברה לשלם את דמי החכירה שלהם. בדצמבר 2008 השתלט על החברה הנושה המרכזי שלה - הבנק של סנט פטרסבורג, שסיפק ערבויות לפעילותה עד סוף חודש מארס 2009, אך הפסיק את מימון פעילות החברה בחודש אפריל.

KD Avia yesterday stopped flight operations after its airplanes were arrested for the company's failure to provide leasing payments. In late 2008, the company failed to pay the coupon and pass the put option for the 1 bn. rub. bond issue and acknowledged that it wouldn't be able to continue flying. In December, the operational control over the company was assumed by the Bank Saint-Petersburg, the largest creditor of the company. It provides subsidies for the company's operations until late March but in April ceased financing. According to Vedomosti, the promised support from the state has not yet reached the company. This again confirms that the government promises to provide support to companies and the actual aid are not equal.
